What we collect

Your email address, if you give it to us to unlock the leaderboard or receive the newsletter. That is the only personal information we ask for. We do not collect your name, your address, or any financial account details, and we never ask for a password.

A login cookie. When you unlock the leaderboard we set one cookie (fv_unlock) so the site remembers you. It contains a signed token and your address, is readable only by our server, and expires after 90 days.

Anything you choose to enter — for example a watchlist of assets, which we use to decide what to send you.

What we do with it

We use your address to give you access and to send you what you asked for. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with advertisers. We use processors to operate the service — hosting, email delivery, and payment if you ever buy something — and they may only process your data on our instructions.

Advertising

Pages on this site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and read how Google uses data in its partner sites policy. We do not receive your identity from Google.

Analytics

We keep server logs (IP address, page, timestamp) for security and debugging, and delete them on a rolling basis. We do not run cross-site tracking of our own.

Third-party content

Video thumbnails load directly from YouTube's servers, so YouTube can see that a request was made. We send no identifying information with those requests. Price data is fetched by our server, not your browser.

Your rights

Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — including deleting your address entirely. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe. If you are in the EEA or UK, our basis for processing your address is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Children

The Daily Booger is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
